Leighton Asia secures new contracts in Hong Kong

Leighton Asia, a member company of Australia-based CIMIC Group, has won two new contracts in Hong Kong that will generate a total revenue of A$104 million.

One of the contracts has been awarded to a Leighton Asia-led joint venture by the Hong Kong government to construct the boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor along the Victoria Harbour.

The other contract was awarded to Leighton Asia by the Beijing Urban and Chevalier Joint Venture for the electrical works package for the Third Runway Concourse and Apron at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Both projects have commenced. The boardwalk project is scheduled for completion in 2025, while the works at the Third Runway Concourse and Apron are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
