Carmix, the Italian manufacturer of off-road mobile concrete batching plants and self-loading concrete mixers, has launched its 1%+1% World Charity Campaign - a fundraising campaign to help charities in the countries where Carmix machines will be sold. The project, featuring the slogan ‘ Carmix Family Together: All For One, One For All’ is already operational and will last until the end of the year.
From 21 April to 31 December 2020, Carmix will donate 1% of the amount of each machine sold to a charity located in the country of sale, selected by the dealer or the customer themselves. The other 1% will be donated to an entity chosen by Carmix in Italy.
Civil Defence, Red Cross, hospitals, voluntary associations, public and private bodies all over the world are among the parties involved in managing the Covid-19 spread, and Carmix wants to be close to them in this emergency. The company said it will report the status of donations and fundraising on its Facebook page.
“We are facing one of the most difficult crises of this century, and it is in these times of difficulty that we need to do our best efforts,” said Manuela Galante, marketing director of Carmix. “Today more than ever, we are committed to intensifying our relationships with all our dealers, customers, suppliers and employees to overcome this situation together and come out stronger than ever before. With this charity campaign, all the Carmix Family people will make their contribution.”
