Axis Communications announces the appointment of Ettiene Van Der Watt as Vice President for Asia Pacific (APAC), effective 1 October 2025.
With over 18 years of industry experience, including more than 14 years at Axis, Ettiene has held leadership positions spanning engineering, business development, and regional management. Most recently, he served as Regional Director for the Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia, where he successfully expanded the business across diverse markets and strengthened Axis’ presence in the region. A consistent advocate for smarter systems, sustainable practices, and forward-looking solutions, he has played a key role in shaping how Axis partners with customers to drive lasting impact.

Under his leadership, Axis has partnered with organizations such as Moro Hub to advance integrated physical security platforms, underscoring the company’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and industry leadership.
