The juries noted the ongoing interest in social impact, with many of the designs focusing on creating a lasting positive impact rather than on more superficial design elements.

The announcements also kick off the public voting for the inaugural Core77 Community Choice Prize. This brand new addition to the Design Awards program asks the global design community to vote on their favorite honored entries between today and July 14th. A grand prize winner, the project receiving the most votes overall across all 14 categories, will receive airfare and a free ticket to attend the 2018 Core77 Conference in New York City.
