Catherine Li to lead Atkins in Asia Pacific

Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has appointed Catherine Li as its chief executive officer for Asia Pacific, to drive further growth in the region with a focus on mainland China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Australia.

Philip Hoare, president and CEO of Atkins said, “I am delighted with the appointment of Catherine as our new CEO for Asia Pacific. This is an important region for Atkins and I am excited by the potential growth opportunities it offers our business. With her leadership and experience, I feel confident that Catherine will further build upon our strong presence in Asia Pacific, helping our clients deliver exciting transformational projects and addressing some of the region’s biggest urban and infrastructure challenges.”

Prior to this appointment, Ms Li held various senior roles at Atkins in the region including managing director for Asia, in which she has led business growth in Hong Kong, mainland China and Southeast Asia.

Ms Li is also serves as a board director of the China Britain Business Council (CBBC) and sits on the board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Before joining Atkins, she took on key roles in the infrastructure consultancy and financial services sectors, and as an entrepreneur in the computing and technology sector.
